Meet your teacher

Hello, I'm Ali!
Kundalini instructor. Sound bath facilitator. Clay artist. Surfer. Hiker. Plant eater. Earth lover. Light worker.
Course overview
Thank you for joining me on this 6 week journey to 'awaken to your potential' by softening, opening and balancing your 'crown chakra' - also known as the 'tenth gate' portal.
Crown Chakra / Tenth Gate
The top of the human skull is said to be the point where humans connect energetically with the angelic realm, to the cosmos, to source energy, and to the magical planes of existence far beyond the world we know (as adult human beings). It is the gateway to spaces, places and dimensions of infinite creation and potential; the gateway to your 'higher self'.
Our 7 year old consciousness shift
When we are born, this portal (the fontel) is said to be wide open, and it stays open up to about 7 years old when it seals, hardens and closes, and we loose our angelic realm connection, and this can result in all kinds of traumas playing out physically, mentally and emotionally, as the world that was once our magical colourful playground can quite suddenly become heavy with fears, limitations, judgements and anxiety.
Natural re-opening of this portal
Working on softening and balancing this area is possible at any time, but It is said that at about 42-49 years old this gate naturally begins to open again (energetically) and we have the opportunity to connect once again with the angelic realm by expanding into our infinite potential and experiencing our boundlessness, whilst exploring our soul purpose, and soul contracts and processing and healing any trauma around our 7 year old self.
Something Beyond
However old you are, this area is your connection to 'something beyond' - it is your umbilical cord to the universe, and when you feel called to connect, soften and balance this crown chakra, you create an opportunity for yourself to live to your fullest potential, see through the social and cultural conditioning, and reassess who you think you are and how you show up in the world.
Lesson overview
Lessons:
- Lesson 1: Foundation for infinity.
- Lesson 2: Becoming like angels.
- Lesson 3: The long chant.
- Lesson 4: Let the liver live.
- Lesson 5: Live young for a long time.
- Lesson 6: Energy, creativity, prosperity.
In week four, the set we are focusing on is called 'let the liver live.'
This set increases our ability to integrate energy and inspiration coming in through the crown chakra by optimising the healthy function of the liver to purify the bloodstream. We absorb toxins into our blood not only from our food, drink and water, but also from the environment and atmosphere, and through our skin and emotional state (especially as we eat or drink).
I invite you to make conscious choices to reduce the pressure on your liver by reducing toxins you absorb into your body. Make conscious choices going forward to raise your vibration, purify your system of toxins, and therefore more easily integrate energy and inspiration coming in to your body through the crown chakra.
- How are you feeding your spirit and nourishing your soul?
- What do you consume and where does it all come from?
- Detoxing can occur on many levels: decluttering and clearing out physically, mentally and emotionally are all helpful ways to support a holistic cleanse.
- Imbue your food and environment with high vibes of love and gratitude - singing, prayer, laughter and chants of all kinds are used worldwide before eating/feasting.
"The liver performs the great service of removing toxins from the bloodstream, but if the liver becomes overtaxed the whole body will suffer. This yoga set focuses on preventative care of the liver".
As always, make adjustments to the poses and breath-work as and when you feel to suit you - alternate options are given in the recording.
